Applications are open for General University Scholarships to pursue an undergraduate degree for the academic session of 2019-2020. These scholarships are available on the basis of academic excellence and competition.

The aim of the scholarships is to reward and encourage excellence of students.

The University of Oregon is a public flagship research university in Eugene.

Scholarship Description:

• Application Deadline: January 15, 2019
• Course Level: These scholarships are available to pursue an undergraduate degree.
• Study Subject: These scholarships are awarded in the fields offered by the university.
• Scholarship Award: Awards vary between $1000 – $3000. This scholarship is awarded for one year only.

• Number of Scholarships: Number of scholarship is not given.
• Scholarship can be taken in the USA

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

• Eligible Countries: USA
• Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA for undergraduate and graduate students; 3.25 cumulative GPA for law students.

Application Procedure:

• Incoming freshmen are automatically considered for General University Scholarships by completing the undergraduate admission application.

How to Apply:

Incoming freshmen are automatically considered for General University Scholarships by completing the undergraduate admission application by January 15, 2019. No separate General University Scholarship application is required for incoming freshmen.

Current UO Students (undergraduate, graduate or law students already attending the Univeristy of Oregon) must complete the following to receive full review:

• Submit the online General University Scholarship Application by February 15, 2019.
• Request that an instructor or professor submit your online letter of reference  by February 15, 2019.

New Post-Baccalaureate Applicants, New Graduate Applicants and New Law Applicants must complete the following to receive full review:

• Apply for admission to the University of Oregon by February 1, 2019
• Submit the online General University Scholarship Application by February 15, 2019.
• Request that an instructor or professor submit your online letter of reference  by February 15, 2019.
• Submit your official transcripts to the Office of Admissions by February 15, 2019. (You must provide transcripts to the Office of Admissions even if you have already supplied them to your academic department)

Undergraduate Transfer Students (transferring to UO in Spring, Summer or Fall 2019) must complete the following to receive full review:

• Apply for admission to the University of Oregon by March 15, 2019
• Submit the online General University Scholarship Application by April 1, 2019.
• Request that an instructor or professor submit your online letter of reference  by April 1, 2019.
• Submit your official transcripts to the Office of Admissions by April 1, 2019.
