[HCM] Sự Kiện Ripe Camp 2019: Friends For Street Children

Ripe Camp 2019, with the topic of “Back2Nature”, is organized for 66 fifth grade students from Binh An, Binh Trieu, and Binh Tho Development Centers. Going through 2 phases of the program, the students will be learning nature-related words and basic communication in English for 3 weeks of May; then go on a journey to Green Noen Farm on June 2nd for an exciting day of outdoor activities.
Why we do this?
These activities aim to boost their confidence and communication skills, improve their English through practical experience, facilitate their face-to-face interaction, and especially better their mindset, attitudes, and behaviors towards the eco-friendly living style. On top of that, the conclusion of this school year is also the last time they spend their childhood with FFSC. Thus, the day camp will be an opportunity for both the volunteers and the students to be with each other before the children move on to their early puberty.
But....
To carry out the farming trip, we are calling for your support to raise funds of $1,312.
With a donation of $20, a child could have the chance to go on the trip!
